The Northwest Las Vegas Youth Roller Hockey League is in our 18th year of operation. Our youth hockey program is designed for all players to have equal playing time regardless of their ability and to have fun playing the game of hockey. We will strive to instill good sportsmanship, honesty, integrity, cooperation and respect for others and the game of hockey in all forms and on all levels.


BEGINNER LEAGUE GOALS:
The Beginner Roller Hockey League is designed for the 1st time player or the very inexperienced player. We feel this Beginner League will give young boys and girls the opportunity to play roller hockey with other children that are at the same level they are without being intimidated by better players who have been playing for much longer.


PRICES:
Your cost for the 4 week camp and 8 week league is only $100.00 This price will include 2 practices a week for 4 weeks and then 1 practice and 1 game a week for 8 weeks. We will also have a basic equipment package that will be greatly reduced to help with the cost of getting started.

LEAGUE & GAME FORMAT:
All games and practices are at Crystal Palace on Rancho. You will be contacted by a coach before we start. League practices start Tuesday, Sept. 17,and the games will start the 2nd week of Oct. Games for the A league will be Saturday mornings, the B and C leagues will play on Thursday afternoons. All Beginner games will consist of 2-15 minute halves. In the event of a tie game there will be a 3 man shoot out and if still tied, a Sudden Death shoot out will decide the winner.

*     Any type inline skate
*     Hockey stick
*     Shin pads
*     Hockey gloves
*     Helmet with full face shield.

AGE DIVISIONS:
Beginner A . . . . . . . 8 years and under
Beginner B . . . . . . . 9 – 11 years old
Beginner C . . . . . . . 12 – 14 years old
